When you live where you fear to live, your jewellery is going to reflect your journey. We hope life’s little bumps, dents and scratches will only add to the character of each piece and will serve as an important reminder of a life well lived.

Here’s our guide to caring for and
wearing your Aramudi jewellery. 

Clean

To clean your jewellery the best option is to use a soft brush (a soft toothbrush is ideal), warm water and a mild soap. Please take care when using polishing cloths on both the matt and gold plated pieces as this will slowly rub away the finish.

Wear

Over time the natural tarnishing of our precious metals are intended to highlight the distinct lines and shapes unique to Aramudi. Care should be taken with the use of perfumes, creams, soaps, lotions, and makeup near your jewellery.

Gold Plated Jewellery

The gold plated pieces are intended to wear down overtime to highlight the distinct lines and shapes.

The rate and places of wear will vary with use. All gold plated pieces are 925 sterling silver with a 1-3 micron plating of 22 carat gold. If you’d like to restore the gold definition, please get in touch at hello@aramudi.com so we can re-plate your Aramudi pieces with a 3 micron plating for a small cost.

Solid Gold Jewellery

The gold Aramudi pieces are made from 9 carat gold to be as rugged as you. These pieces can be polished with a mild jewellery cleaner and polishing cloth.

Storage

All our jewellery comes in a handmade travel pouch ready for life’s adventures. It is designed to minimise rub together and should make life easier when you’re on the road. Please store your jewellery inside the pouch when you are not wearing it, this will prevent tarnishing.
