The little things

Truth be told, there’s nothing more comfortable than a good T-shirt. It’s also an easy fall back when there are more pressing decisions to be made.

A simple white t-shirt was my starting point on our design journey for Aramudi. I wanted every piece to work on a T-shirt as well as on the most elegant evening dress or dress jacket. The jewellery needed to be a statement rather than an accessory, a symbol of our intent.

This influenced the clean lines and textured finish of our jewellery. We relied on geometric patterns and the use of traditional precious metals to express the interconnected stories of womanhood and our shared cultural lineage.
